HILLY ALEXANDER
When I moved to Wilsonville in 1995 I was delighted to find a well-stocked library. I could always find a good novel or mystery or a memoir. Thanks to public libraries, reading is still my least expensive hobby.
After I started volunteering at the Library and serving on the Wilsonville Public Library Board, I realized that the Library offers so much more than books and movies. People come here to get help from reference, for notary services, to find a place to study or just read a magazine. And they come for the story times and classes, the Book Notes concerts, and to look at the art. I have come to truly appreciate the role our Library plays in the community.
Private donations make Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Science Adventure, Spanish Language classes, Outreach to preschools and so much more possible. I hope you’ll join me with your support to help our Library expand its services and achieve excellence.
