Nancy Andersen, a longtime library supporter of the Wilsonville Public Library, passed away November 22, 2022 at
the age of 97.

Nancy’s family has scheduled a memorial service for her in the Oak Room at the Wilsonville Public Library on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 2-3:30 pm.

After raising her family in Portland, Nancy and her husband, Arland, moved to the Charbonneau district in 1980. Here, she became a library volunteer par excellence and was one of the founders of the Wilsonville Public Library Foundation. Her work on the capital campaign for the expansion of the library in 2002 was instrumental in raising funds for art and furniture. She also was the author of a weekly library column which appeared in both the Charbonneau Villager and the WilsonvilleSpokesman.

Nancy’ contributions to the Library and to the City of Wilsonville are a tremendous legacy. We are deeply grateful for all her contributions. We encourage you to wear purple, Nancy’s favorite color.
