CIDNEY MARSHALL
My earliest memory of the library dates back to when I was just five years old, visiting over the summer with my grandmother. I vividly remember stepping through the doors and being in awe of the endless rows of books and the exciting activities available to me. That sense of wonder stayed with me throughout the years, and my love for reading grew alongside my desire to give back to the library.
As a student, I spent many of my lunch breaks at the library, helping to sort and shelve books. Over the years, I’ve become a dedicated library patron, and my gratitude for the many resources and programs it offers has only deepened.
Since January 2024, I’ve been volunteering at the Wilsonville Library, and I am honored to now serve on the Wilsonville Public Library Foundation Board of Directors. I am passionate about supporting the library’s incredible programs, such as Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and the Little Free Libraries, which bring books and resources to communities in meaningful ways. It’s truly inspiring to witness the positive impact the library has, and I’m excited to contribute to its continued success and growth.
